OUR THERAPIES
At Soul Vet we base our diagnoses and treatments on understanding each animal as a whole and taking into account all the factors that may be influencing its health. That is, physiological, nutritional, environmental, emotional, family environment or others factors.
We are convinced that no two treatments can be the same for different animals because each animal and the circumstances surrounding it are unique.
This concept is known as integrative veterinary medicine.
-
INDIBA RADIOFREQUENCY
It is a non-invasive therapy consisting of raising the temperature of the tissues through the action of radiofrequency electric currents, resulting in muscle relaxation, reduction of pain and inflammation and tissue regeneration.
-
K-LASER
It is based on biomodulation, i.e. applying a dose of light energy to tissue (bone, muscle, skin, tendons, etc.) results in a decrease in inflammation and pain, tissue regeneration and reduced recovery times. It’s a painless and non-invasive therapy.
-
ELECTROTHERAPY
With the application of electrical currents, we can offer an analgesic effect useful in muscular overloads or painful situations. Also a stimulating effect that helps to delay muscle atrophy secondary to orthopaedic/traumatological injury.
-
MAGNETOTHERAPY
Non-invasive therapy which, through the application of magnetic fields, acts on the cell membrane potential. It has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, regenerative and relaxing effect.
-
PHOTOTOTHERAPY
Non-invasive therapy, produced by a source of low-power light energy that produces vasodilation in the area of application, resulting in muscle relaxation, wound healing and analgesic effect.
-
MASOTHERAPY
It consists of using our hands as a therapeutic tool, exerting pressure on the body. Massage therapy helps to reduce pain, relieves muscle tension, promotes good joint range and reduces stress.
-
KINESITHERAPY
It consists of therapeutic exercises with the aim of strengthening muscles, re-educating walking, improving coordination, proprioception and mobility, as well as cardiorespiratory capacity and sporting performance in sporting/working animals.
-
ACUPUNCTURE
The basis of acupuncture's action lies in nerve stimulation and its consequent neuroendocrine response. It can be simply defined as the stimulation of specific points on the body by the insertion of very fine needles to produce physiological effects that promote healing.
